Mobile phlebotomy brings blood collection services directly to your location, whether it's your home, office or another convenient location. Instead of traveling to a clinic or hospital a trained phlebotomist comes to you to draw blood for various medical tests.

Yes — your insurance will be applied to the cost of your lab testing once your specimens are processed by the laboratory.
Please note that the mobile blood draw fee itself, is separate and not billable to insurance. This fee covers the convenience of having a phlebotomist come to your location and drop the specimens off to your preferred lab. Prices vary depending on distance and the type of testing requested.
In short: Insurance applies to your lab work but not to the mobile visit fee.

1.) Must have a valid lab order from a physician. It can not be an electronic order (on file) with a lab or hospital system. I do not have the capability to access it.
2.) Must have the ability to forward your Lab order, Insurance Card and Government ID to us via email, fax or text to Gold Needle Mobile phlebotomy . Our email is info@goldneedlellc.com, Fax to 484-500-9672 or Text to 484-265-1705. The patient can also call the ordering physician and request the lab order be faxed to us.
3.) Must have a valid insurance card or Government ID.
4.) Please be advised that full payment is due at the time of scheduling.
1.) On the day of service we will need a clean well-lit space free of clutter and debris.
2.) Please ensure all pets are secured separately from the designated area the technician will utilize during the appointment.
3.) Please ensure the patient is well hydrated before the appointment. If you are having fasting labs performed, only plain water and black tea or coffee is permissible ( zero-sugar items, no flavored-infused, sparkling or carbonated water)
Specimens are delivered to the designated laboratory by Myself, Courier or Express Mail. Your health care provider receives results from the Laboratory. The laboratory will also bill your insurance company for the blood testing.
Please note that your insurance does not cover the Lab draw and transportation. Please be aware that the full payment is due at the time of scheduling. No fees will be collected during the visit.

Our mobile phlebotomists travel up to 25 miles from Allentown, PA 18103. Every additional 15 miles will add a travel fee of $10.
1.) Payment is due when scheduling the appointment.
2.) If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly give 24 hours notice. This notice must be by phone call, e-mail or text and be sent within 24 hours of the start of your appt time or you will forfeit your appointment deposit of $25.
If you have been provided with a kit for specialized laboratory testing, follow the collection procedures for at-home collection. Your kit contains forms, instructions, and supplies.

If your kit comes with a freezer pack, please place it in the freezer in advance to ensure it remains cold during transport. Fees may vary depending on service area and specimen handling. It is very important that the ice pack is frozen prior as they are specially sized to fit in the packaging provided.
